Sifu Commisso commenced his martial arts training in 1995.  He has trained in various styles of Chinese Kung Fu under well-known masters, until finally initiated in the Shaolin arts under the tutelage of Master Jean Lie.  Sifu Jean Lie is an early disciple of Grandmaster Wong Kiew Kit.  Grandmaster Wong is the 4th generation successor to the Shaolin arts from the historical southern Shaolin Monastery of Fukien, China.  Sifu Commisso has been studying under Sifu Lie, Grandmaster Wong, and Sifu Hsuen since 2005 and honoured to be a devoted practitioner of the authentic Shaolin Arts.

Some of Sifu Commisso’s teachers include Sifu Augustin Ngu (Wing Chun, Shaolin White Crane), Sifu Xu Gong Wei (Cha Quan, Tan Tui), Sifu Helen Xiao Rong Wu (Cha Quan, Northern Shaolin), Sifu Roy D. Anthony (Fo Shan Wing Chun), Sifu Jean Lie (Shaolin Cosmos Chi Kung), Grandmaster Wong Kiew Kit (Shaolin Cosmos Chi Kung, Kung Fu, and Wahnam Taijiquan), Sifu Emiko Hsuen (Shaolin Cosmos Chi Kung, Kung Fu, and Wahnam Taijiquan).

Despite his varied studies in the Chinese martial arts, Sifu Commisso continues to focus most of his energies upon the mastery, preservation and propagation of authentic traditional Shaolin Arts.
